Hey everyone,
This is Jeff Rudolph chiming in with some updates on an incident that happened yesterday afternoon. A fire broke out at a residence located at N1369 Thistle Dr. in Pell Lake, Wisconsin. The Bloomfield/Genoa City Fire Department was the first to respond and quickly escalated the situation to a second-alarm response.
Several neighboring departments pitched in to help out, including engines from Woodstock, Wonder Lake, Richmond, Spring Grove, and Hebron Alden. It was quite the coordinated effort, and I’m grateful for how smoothly everything went.
I managed to snap a few photos while on site, and I’ve included them below. You can see Engine 811 from Hebron-Alden Greenwood Fire Rescue, as well as other units like Richmond FD’s Engine 1441, Spring Grove FPD’s Engine 1845, and Wonder Lake Fire Rescue’s Squad 1631. The winter conditions made things challenging, but everyone worked together to get the situation under control.
It’s always tough to see a home go up in flames, especially during the holidays, so my thoughts are with the family who lived there. Hopefully, they’ll be able to rebuild soon.
Take care,
Jeff
P.S. All the photos were taken by me, and I’ve added captions for context!
