The incident unfolded around 7 a.m. on Friday when an extra-alarm fire broke out at a building located on the 2700 block of South Lowe. The fire quickly escalated, with power lines in the area sparking and intensifying the flames, making it extremely challenging for firefighters to contain the situation.

When Skycam 9 arrived at the scene, footage showed firefighters sliding down ladders from the roof as thick smoke filled the air. One firefighter was seen stranded on the rooftop before making a daring jump to a neighboring building to escape the flames. The act was both brave and necessary, highlighting the dangerous conditions faced by emergency responders.
