Upgrade Your HOA Community with High-Quality Patio Grills

Elevate Your HOA Community with Premium Outdoor Grills

5 minute read | Grills

Homeowners associations (HOAs) play a key role in enhancing shared living spaces. One way to revamp these areas is by installing high-quality patio grills. These outdoor grills can turn parks, community centers, pool decks, and more into lively gathering spots for residents. For HOA board members and decision-makers, choosing the right grill involves evaluating factors such as fuel type, material, size, and optional features. This guide will assist you in making informed decisions to select the perfect grill for your community.

Assessing Your Community's Requirements

Every HOA has its unique characteristics, and communal areas can greatly benefit from the addition of patio grills. Whether it’s a neighborhood of single-family homes or a condominium complex, creating dedicated grilling spaces can enrich the community experience. Common areas like parks, community centers, poolside zones, and designated grill spots are great places for these installations. Providing residents access to top-notch grills promotes outdoor activities, social events, and a stronger sense of belonging.

Selecting the Ideal Fuel Source for Your Patio Grills

The fuel source should be the first thing to consider when picking a patio grill for your HOA. We offer three fuel options: natural gas, propane, and electric. All three options are economical to operate and offer multiple grill mounting possibilities. Patio grills can only use one fuel source. Currently, we have one electric grill model, while all other models come in both natural gas and propane versions.

Natural Gas Grills

  • Advantages: Continuous fuel supply, no need to replace tanks.
  • Disadvantages: Fixed location; requires a connection to a natural gas line. Properties without natural gas access cannot use this option.
  • Details: Natural gas grills are best suited for properties with existing natural gas infrastructure. They offer a dependable and powerful cooking experience but cannot be moved once installed.

Propane Grills

  • Advantages: Portable, easy to relocate or store when not in use. Ideal for areas without natural gas or electrical infrastructure.
  • Disadvantages: Requires regular tank replacements.
  • Details: Propane grills utilize a self-contained propane tank, making them versatile and flexible. They’re perfect for locations without easy access to natural gas or electricity, or for properties that need a portable grill (to save space when not in use or to accommodate infrequent gatherings).

Electric Grills

  • Advantages: Compliant with some building codes, like those requiring all appliances to be electric or restricting other fuel sources. Easy to use.
  • Disadvantages: Requires a NEMA 6-30 power receptacle.
  • Details: Our electric patio grills are becoming increasingly popular due to new regulations favoring electric appliances. They’re convenient and eco-friendly. Although an electrician is needed to install a NEMA 6-30 power receptacle, the NEMA 6-30 power cord is necessary to deliver the energy (240V) required to match their traditional counterparts.

Material and Size Considerations

Picking the right material and size is vital for durability and aesthetics. We offer grills (lid and basin) made of stainless steel or cast aluminum, though we use stainless steel for critical internal components in all of our grills, such as the grates and burners.

Stainless Steel Grills

  • Benefits: Resistant to corrosion, durable, sleek appearance.
  • Sizes Available: Four sizes, including one electric model and three with natural gas and propane options.
  • Details: These grills are robust and suitable for high-traffic areas, offering a premium look and long-lasting performance.

Cast Aluminum Grills

  • Benefits: Cost-effective, corrosion-resistant, and durable.
  • Sizes Available: Two sizes, available for natural gas and propane only.
  • Details: These grills are smaller and more budget-friendly than our stainless steel models, providing a practical option without sacrificing quality. They work particularly well for HOAs that need multiple grills in their grill areas.

Optional Grill Accessories

Boost your grilling setup with various grill accessories that add convenience and functionality. All our T-Series grills come standard with essential accessories for neighborhoods with single-family homes and managed by HOAs, such as:

  • 60-minute automatic gas-flow shutoff timer: Rest assured knowing if anyone accidentally leaves a grill running, wasting fuel and posing a potential safety risk, it will shut off automatically.
  • Laser-etched control panels: Unlike low-quality department store grills that often use printed controls which fade over time, we go the extra mile by using lasers to permanently engrave instructions onto the panels.
  • Anti-theft control knobs: Prevent mischievous kids from removing grill control knobs just to be a nuisance.
  • Robust quality guarantee: Our clients mean everything to us, so all our grills come with a substantial parts guarantee to ensure customer satisfaction.

Consider adding extra accessories to further enhance your grilling experience:

  • Lift Assist Handle (S27T, S36T, S4T, E27T): This handle allows anyone, even those in wheelchairs, to open and close the grill lid without reaching over the grill itself.
  • Infrared Rotisserie Burner: Let your residents take their cooking skills to the next level with an infrared rotisserie spit.
  • Emergency gas shutoff button (ESTOP): Some regulations may require an emergency fuel shutoff button.
  • Additional stainless steel side shelves
  • Stainless Steel Doors (for custom island installations)
  • Grill Vents (for custom island installations)
  • Trash Receptacles (for custom island installations)
  • Stainless Steel Beverage Center: Provide your residents with a cool spot to store their drinks while grilling and enjoying your outdoor areas.
  • Outdoor sink: We offer outdoor sinks with running water if you’d like to complete your outdoor kitchen.

These grill accessories allow you to tailor your grill setup to meet your community's specific needs.

Installing patio grills in communal areas can significantly enhance the living experience for residents within your HOA. By selecting the appropriate fuel source, material, size, and accessories, you can create an inviting environment for residents to enjoy picnics, parties, barbecues, and more. This investment adds value to your properties and fosters a sense of community and satisfaction among homeowners. Make the smart choice today and witness the positive impact on your HOA.
