Josh Boyajian and I were in Kankakee County taking rig shots when the Pembroke Fire Department called for a third alarm due to a brush fire at 2600 South and 13000 East. The fire was burning across approximately 50 acres and included several abandoned vehicles, trailers, mobile homes, and a large number of tires. As the situation escalated, command upgraded to a fourth alarm and requested a Strike Team from MABAS 37. The area is mostly wooded with rolling hills and scattered homes, making it a challenging environment for firefighting efforts.
