Michelin tire safety action comes to Hubei

Tyre safety is very important and safety leads the way. On October 21, the Michelin tire safety operation came to Hubei and a Michelin tire safety training camp was launched. It aims to disseminate knowledge about the proper use and maintenance of tires to the media and the general public, and guide the driving safety of drivers. In addition to theoretically enhancing motorists’ knowledge of tire safety, Michelin also carried out nearly 70 community tire safety tests across the country in the second half of this year, providing one-on-one tire safety for local community residents. This trip to Hubei is an important part of Michelin's 2008 road safety campaign. It has played a timely guiding role in the drivers’ 11-day holiday trip and winter tire maintenance.

At this Michelin tire safety training camp, Michelin experts explained in detail the structure of the tires, their use and maintenance, and the identification of common tire failures. For example, tire inflation pressure is too low or too high to speed up tires. Wear; Improper attachment and detachment of tires can also cause damage to the bead and problems with the bead bulging, resulting in a hidden tire problem. In addition, Michelin experts also focused on the common puncture and bulging problems. In fact, there are many reasons for puncture, but the most common is that tires are rapidly leaking due to the cut or impact of the tires; or the tires are chronically leaked due to problems such as tread pinning, improper repair after pinning, and lax sealing of valve cores. Gas, causing the tire to run dry and grinding the carcass eventually leads to a flat tire. The common tire bulging is caused by the violent impact of the bead. Whether it is abnormal wear, bulging or puncture, it poses a great threat to traffic safety. Therefore, the correct understanding of tires, frequent detection of tire pressure and the selection of professional tire products and tire services are effective ways to reduce the risk of accidents in driving. For the holiday driving, Michelin experts also introduced a variety of misunderstandings of tire use, such as tire pressure is too high, high pressure deflation, blind pursuit of wide tires, etc., to better guide the drivers holiday travel.

Fin Die consists of draw satation, pierce extrude station, reflare satation, edge trim, slit, dual feed (fixed and movable), and cutoff station. The fin surface is accomplished in the last draw station by removable plate, The die stays in the press during plate changes. The die further features the latest version of draw station adjustment. Each station can be individual adjusted using a dial adjustment gauge. The draw dials are calibrated, as is the reflare adjustment dial. Our digital position indicator design will be included on all draw and reflare dials, which greatly improves the visibility and ease of adjustment.

These features allow for extremely fast changes from one collar height setting to another. We also will furnish ball bushings in the main die set as serviceable pillar style bearings. Air is used in the pierce extrude station to clear slugs and scrub the walls of the extrude bushings. Air is also used in the edge trim station to eject scrap. PIERCE PUNCH LUBRICATION SYSTEM (STANDARD) We provide the piece punch lubrication system to extra protect the punches and dies.

This features a reservoir and necessary plumping to induce air and lubricant through the pierce punches automatically. This will assist to remove the round pierced Slug plus lubricate the punch during entry and withdraw from the pierce dies. This is especially necessary when running any type of evaporative fin stock lubricant. A low level switch and pilot light indicator on the touching screen are designed. QUICK DIE CHANGE (STANDARD) Our fin line is designed and manufactured for rapid die exchange. One man with two hours will be enough for skilled operator. Nearly all changes are of a fixed position nature to virtually eliminate adjusting things to get the dies running with the line. SEPARATE SLIT ADJUSTMENT (STANDARD) A set of slit design upper blades can be positioned from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and more as Fin Dies sepecification SPEICAL TOOL STEEL (TOOLING) The die will be designed in tooling items named ASP30, for example, Punches, Die inserts, Slitter blades and other blades.
