At the recent China International Industrial Surfactant Exhibition in Shanghai, Dow Chemical’s booth drew a significant amount of attention, with its Polyglycol Ether and Surfactants Division products standing out among visitors. Among these, the newly launched ECOSURF SA non-ionic surfactant captured the interest of many buyers due to its eco-friendly design and superior performance. This product is part of Dow’s latest generation of biodegradable non-ionic surfactants, meeting global environmental and safety standards.
ECOSURF SA series is made from natural vegetable oils, making it ideal for producing green products such as eco-friendly coatings, paints, and cleaners without emitting volatile organic compounds. It also offers excellent surface tension reduction, wettability, and strong cleaning power, making it suitable for applications in papermaking, textile processing, and agrochemicals. The product is available globally without requiring special environmental labels or grades.
Currently, Dow offers over 200 surfactant products worldwide, with well-known brands like ECOSURF SA, TRITON, DOWFAX, and TERGITOL gaining widespread industry recognition. In the textile sector, Dow surfactants are used in fabric softeners, dyes, and spinning oils. In emulsion polymerization, they support applications such as surgical protective devices, high-strength adhesives, and latex-based paper products. In cleaning, they serve as industrial degreasers for floors and mechanical dishwashing detergents, ensuring clean and bright tableware in fine dining settings. In the paint and coating industry, they are used in automotive finishes, marine coatings, and printing inks.
