The Second Sino-Russian-Kazakhstan Petroleum Forum Opens in Beijing The topic of this forum is “To deepen understanding and promote cooperation”

The second China-Russia-Harbin oil forum was held in Beijing on November 30th.
The topic of this forum is 'to deepen understanding and promote cooperation'. It will further explore and analyze practical issues such as investment, trade, transportation, and pricing in the oil sector. It will also serve as oil for China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other former Soviet countries. Enterprises set up platforms for exchanges and cooperation, expand mutual understanding of the oil investment environment and development policies, explore cooperation opportunities for various petroleum projects and trade, promote energy cooperation and positive interaction, and complement each other.
As the Chinese chairman of the Second Sino-Russian-Haiparean Petroleum Forum, Li Yongwu, president of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, first delivered a speech. He said that oil is an important link connecting the three countries' trade relations. On October 27 this year, PetroChina successfully acquired Kazakhstan’s PK Oil Company. In December, the 970-kilometer pipeline at Atashu-Alashankou will complete all major projects. From this we can see that the Sino-Russian oil cooperation project is actively underway. How the oil companies can better participate in the energy cooperation between the three countries is the main topic of our forum.
Mr. Gordyev, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mining of Kazakhstan, said that the energy cooperation between the three countries is highly complementary. Russia and Kazakhstan are rich in energy reserves, and energy and country-building are the strategic needs of Russia and Kazakhstan; while China's economy is booming, and energy demand continues to be strong, it is a stable and reliable energy market. The three countries have already cultivated the foundation for energy cooperation. This forum shows that we will usher in an important period of opportunity.
The forum ended on December 2.
