On July 15, Duan Feng research team conducted an experiment in Nankai University. A domestic SUV car went straight for about 20 meters, but there was no one in the driver's seat. The experimenter wore an EEG signal acquisition device equipped with 16 collection points, and “issued orders” for a car equipped with a computer processing system, a vehicle-mounted electronic control unit, and the like through an EEG signal. Subsequently, the car accurately executed a series of prescribed instructions such as starting, straight forward, straight reverse, brake, door lock, unlock, etc. under the control of the human brain. Specifically, the result is to capture the EEG signals generated by people's attention when they are focused by EEG equipment, and then use the EEG signal recognition system to analyze people's driving intentions and send control commands to the car. It can be said that the "brain-controlled car" subverts the traditional driving method used by the hands and feet, and can use the human brain to control the car and make it run at a low speed.
