·Jaguar Land Rover leads the UK to start a driverless car road test

According to the British auto magazine Autoexpress reported on February 1st, driverless cars and connected cars are about to open the British road test, which is part of the UK government's driverless car technology project to support the development of UK driverless technology. The test section has a total length of 40 miles (64 kilometers).

Researchers will install wireless sensors on highways, main roads and city streets near Coventry and Sorelhar, UK, and sensors will communicate with more than 100 different driverless cars and connected cars for testing. How unmanned technology can effectively reduce traffic congestion and enhance road safety.

It is reported that the experiment is called UK-CITE, (full name UK Connected Intelligent Transport Environment), the current investment has reached 5.6 million pounds. The experiment lasted for three years and was jointly carried out by car companies such as Jaguar Land Rover and communication companies such as Wofengda.

The experiment is still in preparation, with £2.2 million planned to be spent on unmanned buses in the city centre to help those with physical and visual disabilities. Prior to this, the unmanned car program had been implemented in the small town of Milton Keynes, England.

In addition, the UK government has invested in eight different driverless car projects, six of which are related to the acceleration of driverless cars and connected cars developed from infrastructure and commercial perspectives. One of the projects that invested £20 million.

nfrared (IRcut-off filters are used with color CCD or CMOS imagers to produce accurate color images. An IR cut-off filter blocks the transmission of the infrared while passing the visible. This can be done with two optical techniques: absorption or reflection. Absorptive filters are made with special optical glass that absorbs

Infrared cut-off filters are used in digital optical equipment, such as cameras, video recorders and astronomical telescopes, to limit the amount of infrared radiation that reaches their delicate CCD and CMOS imagers. These imagers are very sensitive to infrared radiation.which can cause a color shift in the final image.Using an infrared cut-off filter will reduce or prevent this color shift
