Multinationals in China: INVISTA cooperates with the Chinese government to crack down on fake Leica

In mid-November, various branches of the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce conducted a series of search operations against counterfeit products in Beijing. With the support and cooperation of INVISTA, a total of more than 5,000 fake Leica brand products were found worth more than RMB 100,000.

After INVISTA reiterated its commitment to trademark protection, it once again stated that it will fully support the crackdown measures implemented by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
Responsible person of INVISTA stated that the textile and apparel industry is one of the most important industries in Mainland China, and the issue of counterfeit goods has impaired the overall development of the industry. INVISTA is committed to supporting the Trade and Industry Bureau and other law enforcement agencies to crack down on textile infringement activities to protect China's pillar industries. In addition, INVISTA will continue to implement a variety of publicity and education activities to help the public distinguish between goods containing genuine Lycra brand, so as to ensure that they can enjoy the benefits of genuine Lycra brand products.
