Industry 4.0 and China Made 2025 Global Conference Held in Beijing

[China Instrument Network Industry Focus] On September 17-18, the “Industry 4.0 and China Manufacturing 2025 Global Annual Meeting” was held in Beijing with the theme of “The Internet” under the new industrial revolution. The annual meeting was directed by the CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and jointly organized by China Intelligence and China Industry Review magazine. Song Xianzhu, party secretary of the CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information, gave a welcome speech. The president of the China Federation of Industrial Economics Li Yizhong, Wang Peng, the deputy director of the CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Jianwei, director of the Informatization and Software Services Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Christian Ruther, director of the Fraunhofer IFAM Association, attended the keynote speech.

At present, industrial restructuring has become the consensus of all countries, and all countries are actively laying out and seizing new strategic heights. Germany proposed the "Industry 4.0" national strategy; the United States proposed "reindustrialization" and promoted the "industrial Internet" strategy; Japan, France and other countries also introduced the relevant intelligent manufacturing, Industry 4.0 strategy.

In his speech, Song Xianzhu said that the party Central Committee and the State Council attached great importance to the development of the industrial economy and made a series of major policy decisions. This year, the "Guangdong Made 2025" and "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Internet" were successively issued. The National Leading Group for the Construction of a Powerful Country has made a good case for China to become an industrial power. He pointed out that when the “Internet” meets “Made in China 2025,” it will adopt a variety of policies, ecological environment, and mechanism to effectively promote the quality and efficiency of the industry. In the "Internet" manufacturing sector, we will deploy technological advancement, especially smart manufacturing, as the main attack direction to deploy technological research, technological innovation, and corresponding ecological environment construction. He also mentioned that in the earlier period, CCIDA participated in the research and planning of policies such as “Made in China 2025” and “Internet”. In the new situation and period, CCID will conscientiously implement the major decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, closely focus on the goal of building a strong country, and give full play to the advantages of the Institute to promote the sustained and healthy development of the industrial economy and achieve industrial and information technology. The integration and multiplication development will make positive contributions.

Li Yizhong discussed the implementation path of the “Made in China 2025” national strategy from the perspective of investment. He pointed out that investment plays a key role in China's economic growth, but it is still necessary to further deepen the reform of the investment system, adjust the investment structure, and increase investment efficiency. First, transforming and upgrading traditional industries and accelerating the cultivation of new industries must be done simultaneously; second, technological transformation of traditional industries; and third, accelerating the development of new industries as soon as possible to form new growth poles. We must speed up major scientific and technological special projects and master the core technologies and key technologies necessary for new industries. We must proceed from the overall situation, determine the distribution of regions and industries, and implement differentiated development. New industries should be built on the high starting point for the integration of new-generation information technology applications and interconnections to prevent low-level duplication. The implementation of the “Made in China 2025” and “Internet” actions have new investment opportunities, but it is necessary to select the direction and increase the effectiveness.

Wang Peng analyzed the opportunities and challenges of China's manufacturing industry in the context of economic restructuring. He pointed out that the four effects should be transformed into new development impetus. The first is the effect of innovation. The major reforms and innovations in the production and manufacturing modes of enterprises have promoted the replacement of new and old industries, formed a large number of new market demands and investment opportunities, and promoted the growth of the entire manufacturing industry and even the economy. The second is the fusion effect. The integration of information technology and manufacturing technology promotes the integration of emerging industries and traditional industries, and the integration of manufacturing and service industries, thereby promoting the change of the entire economic structure and the improvement of production efficiency. The third is the synergistic effect. Accelerated application of information technology in enterprises, major changes in the pattern of industrial division of labor, mobile Internet, big data, cloud computing, Internet of things, etc., penetrated into all areas of manufacturing, and gradually formed a new intelligent collaborative manufacturing network among enterprises. , Bring the value of the entire industry chain up. The fourth is the first-mover effect. The global development of intelligent manufacturing is still in the ascendant. If Chinese enterprises take the lead in large-scale applications, break through key technologies, and integrate with the Internet industry that has already existed in China, it is possible to form new competitive advantages in this field and seize the future. The height of competition. He also pointed out the challenges China's manufacturing industry will face in the concept revolution, model transformation, and international division of labor.

Christian Ruther, head of the Fraunhofer IFAM Association in Germany, shared the experience of German Industry 4.0 in the innovation of production processes, and introduced the concepts, benefits and problems to be solved of Industry 4.0.

Wang Jianwei made a presentation on the background of the integration of innovation in the Internet and industry, the three major transformations brought about by the convergence of the Internet and industrialization, the work and progress of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the “Internet”, and preliminary considerations on advancing the “Internet” and industrial integration.
