Dow Chemical Introduces New Epoxy Resin

Global-industrial giant Dow Chemical's plastics company recently developed a new type of epoxy resin that combines the adhesion and fire resistance of general epoxy resins with the flexibility and ease of processing of thermoplastics. Dow experts claim that this is an excellent plastic raw material, because it has excellent oxygen barrier and adhesion, so it is named Blox high insulation resin and Blox high adhesion resin. According to reports, the former is mainly used in the beverage industry as an insulating layer for multi-layer PET bottles. Because of its good transparency, strong adhesion and toughness, it is suitable for oxygen and carbon dioxide-sensitive beverage packaging, and with other insulating resins EVOH and MXD6. Similar prices, slightly better adhesion, it is reported that the isolation of this resin can also be adjusted according to the needs and cost balance. The adhesion, durability, and transparency of Blox's high adhesion resin are better, but the isolation performance is slightly poorer. It can attach well to fiber materials and can also adhere to plastic, wood, metal, and glass. According to Dow Plastics, its current facility to produce this Blox resin has been built with a production capacity of 10,000 tons/year.

Violet lasers are mainly diode lasers, the Laser head comes with cooling and precise temperature control system, and power supply comes with overcurrent and overheating protection function. CNI lasers have stabilized power, easy operation, reliable performance and long lifetime. Free space or fiber-coupled (SM fiber, MM fiber, homogenization fiber) output available. They are widely used in fluorescence excitation, 3D print, raman spectrum measurement etc.

Following wavelength are available for violet laser: 400 nm 420 nm 405 nm 425 nm 410 nm 430 nm 415 nm 440 nm
