On the eve of “July 1”, the commencement ceremony for the 1 million tons/year vacuum salt production project of Henan Coal Chemical Group Yonglong Chemical Co., Ltd. was held in Puyang. The commissioning of the project will promote the development of Xiangyang City into the “three-in-one” integration of coal chemical industry, salt chemical industry, and petrochemical industry, and also presents a ceremony for the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Party.

The 1 million-ton/year vacuum salt production unit is one of the largest salt production units in the domestic salt production industry. It mainly produces high-purity industrial salt and is the first phase of Yonglong Chemical's chlor-alkali project. The total investment of this project is 560 million yuan. On May 12th, it was successfully commissioned and produced qualified industrial salt. At present, the project has produced more than 14,000 tons of industrial salt with a purity of 99.7% or higher and higher than the national standard. It has completed sales of 12,000 tons, showing a promising situation in which production and sales are booming.

Henan Coal Chemical Group is the largest industrial enterprise in Henan Province and has large chemical companies such as Zhongyuan Dahua, Xiangyang Longyu, and Xiangyang Yonglong in Fuyang. How to enable different chemical companies to undertake the product from top to bottom, so that the product can be digested on the spot without Yangyang, truly increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve the efficiency of resource use, and become the direction of exploration and practice of Henan Coal Chemical Group.

The Yonglong Salt Chemical Project is one of the major projects for the planning and implementation of the “three-in-one” project by the Henan Coal Chemical Group to build a circular economy park in Xiangyang. Xingyang Longyu Company under Henan Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. has established the first industrial demonstration project for aerospace furnaces in the field of coal chemical industry. At the same time, Shenyang is still an important petrochemical production base, with large petrochemical companies such as Zhongyuan Ethylene Company. The completion of the project and the subsequent development and construction of salt resources as raw materials projects will combine coal chemical industry, salt chemical industry, and petrochemical industry to achieve complementary advantages and resources sharing.

It is understood that Xiangyang's 600,000-ton/year methanol-based 200,000-ton/year olefin project will be extended to the industrial chain, which can be linked to Yonglong Chemical's 1 million tons/year vacuum salt project and closely integrated with the salt chemical consumption of chlorine products. Extend the chlor-alkali industry chain. The commissioning of the 1 million tons/year vacuum salt project enabled salt chemical industry to meet the conditions for the development of combined petrochemical ethylene and propylene. Zhongyuan Dahua will use the melamine-producing tail gas and will build a concomitant alkali production plant. The vacuum salt production project will prepare raw materials for the production of soda ash, and can produce ammonium chloride to produce compound fertilizers.

At the ceremony, Chen Xuefeng, deputy governor of Henan Province, affirmed the new approaches taken by the Henan Coal Chemical Group and the Puyang Municipal Government in the development of the salt chemical industry, and encouraged them to build a demonstration area for the nationwide "threeizations" joint development.
