Operational Performance of Fabric Reinforced Rubber Seal
1. Minimal leakage: Fabric reinforced rubber seals require minimal leakage, offer good sealing performance, and automatically improve their sealing function under increased hydraulic pressure. Even in harsh environments like high pressure and high temperature, the leakage remains stable.

2. Good compatibility: Since these seals are often immersed in hydraulic oil, they must resist swelling, dissolution, or embrittlement. They need to maintain their sealing properties over time.

3. Low friction resistance: To avoid issues like low-pressure crawling in hydraulic equipment, fabric reinforced rubber seals should have low static and dynamic friction resistance with a stable friction coefficient.

4. Long service life: These seals should be flexible, heat-resistant, cold-resistant, pressure-resistant, wear-resistant, and possess good physical and mechanical strength for long-term use.
Structure of Fabric Reinforced Rubber Seal
Commonly used sealing rings include circular, ring-shaped, and rectangular seals. They are simple to manufacture, cost-effective, and widely used in hydraulic transmission systems for both static and dynamic sealing. Installed in a groove, they typically compress by 10-25%, creating initial contact stress that prevents leakage without pressure. Under hydraulic pressure, the seal deforms further, increasing contact stress to prevent fluid leakage. When pressure exceeds 10 MPa, synthetic resin retainers like nylon or PTFE rings are added to prevent extrusion and leakage during reciprocating motion.

Due to the high compression deformation, static friction resistance is significantly higher than dynamic friction. This can cause issues like low-pressure crawling in some systems, making them unsuitable for use as dynamic seals alone.
