Dongyue Group starts 400,000 tons/year of silicone project

On July 7, Dongyue Group officially launched the construction of its 400,000-ton-per-year silicone project. This ambitious initiative is currently one of the largest organic silicon projects in China and marks a significant milestone for the Dongyue International Fluorine-Silicon Material Industrial Park. As a core component of the park’s high-tech industrial chain, the project represents a crucial step in transitioning the Dongyue Fluorine-Silicon Material Industrial Park from fluorine-based materials to a more diversified range that includes both fluorine and silicon-based products. Silicone is often referred to as the "industrial monosodium glutamate" due to its wide-ranging applications across industries such as electronics, automotive, healthcare, and construction. The scale and technological level of silicone production are strong indicators of a nation's advanced material industry capabilities. With China's rapid economic growth and rising living standards, the demand for organic silicon monomers and materials has been increasing at an annual rate of over 25%. However, domestic production has not kept up with this demand, leading to heavy reliance on imports—accounting for approximately 70% of domestic consumption. According to the China Fluorine-Silicon Organic Material Industry Association, even if China's output of organic silicon monomers reaches 1 million tons per year during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, around 30% of the market will still depend on imports. Dongyue Group’s 400,000-ton-per-year silicone project, the largest of its kind in China, involves a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan and will be developed in two phases. The first phase, which includes a 200,000-ton-per-year organosilicon monomer (dimethyl dichlorosilane) facility and related equipment, was completed by December 2007. The second phase was finalized by December 2009. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 5 billion yuan and contribute 700 million yuan in profits and taxes. This development not only strengthens Dongyue Group's position in the global silicone market but also supports China's long-term goal of reducing dependency on imported materials and boosting domestic production capacity.

Mechanical Mold frame: an important role in modern manufacturing process

With the continuous progress of science and technology, the development of modern manufacturing technology is changing with each passing day. Among them, the mechanical Plate mold frame plays a decisive role. This paper will discuss the concept, design principle, application field and future development trend of mechanical plate mold frame in detail, and reveal its important position in modern manufacturing industry.

First, the basic concept of mechanical plate mold frame

A mechanical die frame, also known as a die frame, refers to a metal structure used to hold and support a die. In the manufacturing industry, mold is an important production tool, used for forming, cutting, stamping and other processes. As the carrier of the mold, the quality of the mechanical plate mold directly affects the performance and production efficiency of the mold.

Second, the design principles and methods of mechanical plate mold frame

1. Stability: The mechanical die frame must have sufficient stability to ensure that there will be no deformation or vibration during the production process.
2. High precision: In order to ensure the precise fit of the mold, the mechanical plate mold frame needs to have high precision processing requirements.
3. Easy maintenance: Convenient and quick maintenance and replacement of molds is an important consideration in the design of mechanical plate molds.
4. Diversity: For different kinds of molds, mechanical plate molds need to have a variety of specifications and adaptability.

Third, the application field of mechanical plate mold frame

Mechanical die frames are widely used in various manufacturing fields, such as automobiles, electronics, aerospace, furniture and so on. There are many kinds of molds, including injection molds, die casting molds, stamping molds, etc., and each mold needs the corresponding mechanical plate mold frame to support.
