On October 14, the company’s chairman and party secretary Xu Ping, the company’s general manager and deputy party secretary Zhu Fushou, the company’s deputy general manager Tong Dongcheng met with the visiting Yunnan provincial party committee’s Li Pei and vice chairman of the provincial party committee’s CPPCC’s Mi Dongsheng and his party at the headquarters. The two sides held discussions on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation.

It is a policy of loving the east and supporting Dongfeng. It is hoped that both Dongfeng and Yunnan will be able to further deepen their cooperation on the basis of Dongfeng Yunqi and the relocation of Dongfeng Yunqi, combining the actual situation of the development of Yunnan Province and Dongfeng with the expectation of Yunnan Province on Dongfeng. At the same time, it is hoped that the Yunnan Provincial Government will provide support measures to further support the rapid development of Dongfeng Yunqi.
Li Pei said that the realization of the dream of the automotive industry in Yunnan province is inseparable from the strong support of Dongfeng. Liao Zhenbo, Director of the company's strategic planning department, introduced the company's profile, the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†development goals, recent operations, and Dongfeng Yunqi’s joint venture restructuring, strategic target positioning, and development plan. Mi Dongsheng explained in detail the industrial structure, market expansion, and road opening of Yunnan Province. Before the meeting, Li Pei and Mi Dongsheng visited Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. Second Plant, Shenlong Second Plant and Dongfeng Exhibition Hall.
