Before we understand the cause of the malfunction, it is necessary to familiarize ourselves with the installation position of the broken bearing. The jaw crusher is equipped with two pairs of bearings:

A pair of bearings are mounted between the frame and the eccentric shaft, commonly referred to as a frame bearing, and the frame bearing supports the eccentric shaft for the rotary motion;

The other pair of bearings are mounted between the movable eccentric and the eccentric shaft, and are generally referred to as dynamic bearings. The supporting moving oscillating motion is performed when the eccentric shaft rotates, thereby realizing the periodic approach of the movable jaws to and away from the fixed jaw.

The two pairs of bearings transfer the load of the crushed material during the operation of the crusher to the frame, which is one of the important parts of the jaw crusher.

Next, let's analyze the cause of the abnormal temperature rise of the broken bearing:

1. Serious bearing wear or damage to the cage

Once the bearing wears, over time, the bearing inner ring, outer ring, rolling element, cage, etc. change in size, the bearing fit clearance increases, the running accuracy decreases, causing the bearing temperature to rise, the vibration to increase, the noise to increase, serious This can cause heat, increased vibration, burned bearings, and even bends of the shaft.

2, the bearing quality is poor, the original clearance is too small

If the clearance of the bearing does not reach the specified value, the clearance will be too small after installation, which will cause heat during the operation of the bearing and the temperature will gradually increase.

3. The axial positioning of the bearing is incorrect.

Once there is a problem with the axial positioning of the bearing, the labyrinth ring or the bearing gland is not installed in place, and the eccentric axial side is swayed during operation, thereby reducing the clearance of the bearing and causing the bearing to heat up.

4, the machining error of the moving bearing hole is large

The machining error of the bearing hole is large, and the coaxiality exceeds the allowable value, resulting in a large coaxiality error of the outer ring of the bearing after the installation of the two disks, which causes the clearance to become smaller and the bearing to heat up.

5, the spindle machining problem

The journal concentricity error of the bearings mounted on both sides of the spindle is too large, exceeding the allowable value of the design. Thus, the coaxiality error of the inner ring after the bearings at both ends are installed is too large, resulting in a smaller clearance and a bearing heat.

6. Tightening of the bushing in the axial direction

In this case, remove the bearing cap on the frame, lock the bushing and remove the flywheel or sheave, and replace the new bushing.

7, oil hole blockage, bearing oil cut, too little oil or too much oil

These will cause the bearing temperature to rise and cause an abnormality. When the equipment is running, read the instructions carefully and refuel according to the instructions.

8, the processing accuracy of parts does not meet the requirements

The machining accuracy of the equipment components does not meet the requirements, especially the machining accuracy of the bearing housing does not meet the requirements, which is also an important factor. The machining of the bearing housing bore is to ensure the tolerance, roughness and cylindricity requirements of the hole. If the hole tolerance is too small, the bearing clearance will be too small when it is matched, and if it is too large, it will loosen. In both cases, the bearing will be heated.

9. Improper use of lubricating oil

According to the bearing operating temperature, speed index, load characteristics, lubrication method and other factors, the bearing lubricant is selected. The lubricant is improperly selected, the viscosity is too low or too high, and it is difficult to form an oil film, which will cause the heat generated in the bearing operation to be taken away, causing The bearing is hot.

10, non-bearing heating

The dynamic sealing sleeve and the end cover are frictionally heated, or the double bearing cover of the frame bearing seat rotates together with the main shaft, and the friction heat is generated, which is considered to be abnormal temperature rise of the bearing. At this time, the jaw crusher end cover and the sealing sleeve should be replaced, or the upper bearing cap of the heating end of the frame bearing housing should be loosened, and the fuse and the insert cover should be pressed into the bearing housing groove, and then the bearing cap is fixed.
