Guilin, May 21st In the evening of May 20th, three children playing in the river near the village of Fenghuang Village, Lingui County, Guilin City, Guangxi Province died in the water. The parents of the deceased cried that they were busy working to feed their families on weekdays, and neglecting the child's discipline led to the present tragedy.

Around 10:30 that evening, Lingui County fire officers and soldiers rushed to the incident village to search. According to eyewitnesses, the missing 3 children played at the river in the morning at 9 am and also went swimming down the river around 3 pm. Until 7:00 in the evening, the villagers found children's clothing on the shore, but they did not see any children. Local people searched for three hours without results before requesting fire department rescue.

Fire officers and soldiers immediately discovered the remains of two children who were killed in the deep depression of the river bed. Subsequently, rescue workers continued to look for the third child who died in the disaster. At 11:45 that evening, the remains of a later child who was killed were found by fire brigade officers and handed over to their parents.

It is reported that three children are rated 12 years old, and the youngest is only 8 years old. Two of the children's parents, Wei Mou, introduced that he usually went out to work to support his family and neglected the child's discipline. On the same day it was Sunday, he did not pay too much attention to the whereabouts of the children. He did not expect that he would be so bad at night.
