Recently, GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to recall from June 5, 2016 to 2016, from September 23, 2016. A total of 2,509 Jeep Freedom cars were produced during the July 27th period.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall are faulty due to the manufacturing equipment of the circuit board supplier. Under certain environmental conditions, the body control module may malfunction, resulting in abnormalities in functions such as headlights or speakers, and there are potential safety hazards. GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the body control module for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
