GE Marine's LM2500 marine engine will power the US Navy's Offshore Combat Ship (LCS) " USSCincinnati ". The two engines for the US Navy " USSCincinnati " will be manufactured by GE 's Evendale plant in Ohio. The power of each LM2500 engine will exceed 29,500 horsepower, allowing the USSCincinnati to reach 40 knots.

  The " USSCincinnati " is the fifth warship named after Cincinnati in the history of the US Navy.
