On June 18, the Yuexi County Cultural Relics Bureau and the Hetu Town Government of the county received a report from the masses, claiming that an ancient tomb was found in the maple tree group in Suichuan Village, Hetu Town. After preliminary investigation by the cultural relics department, the tombs were severely damaged and there were obvious tombs.

On June 19th, Yuexi County Cultural Relics Bureau excavated and cleaned up the tomb according to the relevant provisions of the “Cultural Relics Protection Law” and unearthed a well-preserved delicate shadow celadon pot and some tiles. According to the analysis of cultural relics experts, this is a typical three-burial burial stone tomb in the Song Dynasty. Among them, the single burial chamber is 348cm in length, 108cm in width, 118cm in height, and 12cm in wall thickness. It is made of three rooms of stone and separated in the middle. The top of the tomb is an imitation algae-like dome structure; no "waist pit" is found at the bottom of the chamber (placed with precious burial objects) However, the outer tomb still has iron rings. The inner tomb door is shaped like a lotus petal, with a high specification and a unique shape system. Experts believe that the tomb should be stolen during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Experts discovered that the tombs of the two Song Dynasty burial sites were similar to each other in Song Dynasty tombs in the Songyun County Development Zone in Yuexi County in 2014. They should be in the same period of time; and the tombs will be exquisitely small and exquisite, and the glaze is not in the end. The funerary burial apparatus, porcelain pieces found at the scene, porcelain jade type jade, fetal thin glaze penetrating, with typical characteristics of the Song Dynasty porcelain, can be judged as the Song Dynasty. At present, the cultural relics department has effectively protected the tomb site.
