·The United Nations drafts autonomous driving safety standards
Geneva-related sources on January 18, 2016 said that after the recommendations of Japan and Germany, the UN agency responsible for vehicle management has recently begun drafting a new set of international safety regulations to regulate the management of autonomous vehicles. PDC Core Bit adopt 1304 or 1308 PDC Cutters and steel to produce. Conbining the hardness of the PDC cutters and impact toughness of the steel body makes our PDC core bit is widely used in water well drilling, sample coring, geological exploration, house foundation exploration, especially for caol, sandstone, mudstone, soil layers, sand and pebbles soft to medium hard formations. The advantage of PDC core bit is fast drilling footage in soft formation when compared with diamond core bit. For PDC core bit, we can supply size 46mm, 65mm, 75mm, 91mm, 113mm,130mm, 153mm, 171mm, 200mm and 219mm. Choose quality PDC core bit from a good PDC Bit manufacturer can reduce your cost. The introduction of new regulations is likely to bring commercial viability to the global automotive industry in recent years.
The World Vehicle Regulatory Coordination Forum, a division of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, is developing vehicle safety standards for more than 50 countries, including Japan, EU member states and the United States.
It is reported that the relevant regulations for road driving will be adopted as soon as possible in March next year.
Japanese automakers plan to make autonomous vehicles a common means of transportation on Japanese highways at the time of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. The introduction of these new regulations will help them.
According to sources, so far, Japan has been promoting discussions on safety standards at the World Vehicle Regulatory Coordination Forum. This means that Japanese companies are likely to eventually lead the development of global autonomous driving technology.
The draft can be released before the end of 2016, and the self-driving car will be a major attraction on the agenda of the G7 Transportation Ministers Meeting held in Japan in September 2016.
At present, the United Nations stipulates that automatic driving techniques such as automatic steering are prohibited when the vehicle speed exceeds 10 kilometers per hour.
