From May 5 to May 6, the 2011 China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Award Concentration Review Meeting was held in Beijing. A total of 112 awards for science and technology awards were awarded to the judging panel, including one science and technology achievement award, four technical invention awards, and 107 scientific and technological progress awards. The Office of Science and Technology Awards of the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association will publicize the results of the evaluation from now on.

Professor Jiang Weisun of East China University of Science and Technology won the Science and Technology Achievement Award, "Advanced Mechanism of Delayed Coking Device Based on Process Mechanism, Expert Knowledge, and Intelligent Learning" completed by Tsinghua University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and "Petroleum Geological Samples" completed by China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute. "Analysis of new methods" two projects won the first prize of the Technological Invention Award. Beijing University of Chemical Technology, CNPC Beijing Natural Gas Pipeline Company and Beijing Bohua Sinchi Technology Development Co., Ltd. completed the “Remote Gas Pipeline Gas Engine-Reciprocating Compressor Unit Remote Monitoring and Diagnosis System” and won the Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress Award. “China Petroleum Refining and Chemical Operation System Seventeen projects, such as Technical Research and Key Technologies for the Study of Geological Reservoirs in the Deepwater Gas Field Development in the South China Sea, won the first prize for the Science and Technology Progress Award.
