Here's a 2001 Seagrave Fire Engine currently up for auction. The bidding ends on July 6th, 2022, at 3:00 PM ET, with 28 days and 13 hours remaining. The buyer’s premium is 12.5%, and the starting bid was $5,000. So far, only one bid has been placed, and the current high bidder is listed as c****************1. The current bid remains at $5,000, with a minimum bid of $5,050 and a $50 increment per bid.
The engine is a Seagrave TB50DA model with VIN 1F9E028T01CST2097. It has an odometer reading of 123,267 miles (note: accuracy of this number is unclear), 12,779 engine hours, and 497 pump hours. The chassis is a Seagrave with a tilt cab, and it carries six air pack seats. The gross vehicle weight is 47,000 lbs, with front and rear axle weights of 20,000 and 27,000 lbs respectively. Dimensions include a height of 114 inches, length of 31 feet, width of 98 inches, and a wheelbase of 195 inches. Tire sizes are 385/65R22.5 on the front and 315/80R22.5 on the rear.
The engine is a Detroit Series 60, paired with an Allison HD4060P automatic transmission. The pump is a Waterous CMUYCX model, capable of 15,002 GPM with two stages. It features multiple discharge ports and a front suction of 5", rear suction/intake of 1-3", and a booster reel on the right side. The pump was last tested in 2019, and the tank holds 750 gallons made of poly material. The truck also includes ground ladders measuring 24', 14', and 10', along with a hydraulic rack.
It’s worth noting that the engine was rebuilt in 2009, but no paperwork can be found to confirm the exact condition or mileage post-rebuild.
