It is reported that Ren Jianxin, chairman of China National Chemical Corporation , has served as chairman of the board of Pirelli tires. Marco Tonchetti Provera, former chairman of Pirelli’s board of directors, has served as executive vice chairman of the new board and served as CEO of Pirelli tires.

In addition to the above two persons, this confirmed candidate includes the following members: Yang Xingqiang (General Manager of China National Chemical Corporation), Bai Yuping (General Manager of China National Chemical Rubber Co., Ltd.), Ze'ev Goldberg (member of the board of directors of Pirelli), Tao Haisu (who used to be a senior advisor to Morgray Energy Group), Dan Wang (a deputy general manager of Silk Road Funds Limited) and Zhang Junfang (a former Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Italy).

The new CEO, Tonchetti Provera, said that he believes Sinochem, an international company, will bring new development opportunities and room for growth to Pirelli and jointly create tire industry empire.

For continuing Pirelli, Tonchetti Provera is confident: "We will make very important strategic progress in Asia, especially in China."

According to Tireworld.com, at present, Pirelli is working with companies such as Huanghai Tire, Guilin Tyre, and Aeolus Tyre, which are part of the China National Chemical Corporation. All companies want to make use of Pirelli in 2016.

It is reported that one of the most important tasks of Huanghai Tire in 2016 is to integrate with Pirelli's business.
