The 2BV series liquid (water) ring vacuum pump is designed for applications where air containing water vapor needs to be pumped. It can achieve an intake pressure of up to 33 mbar absolute (equivalent to 97% vacuum). When operating under conditions close to the limit vacuum (i.e., the saturation vapor pressure of the working fluid), it is recommended to connect a cavitation protection tube to safeguard the pump from damage. As a compressor, the maximum pressure it can handle reaches up to 0.26 MPa (absolute pressure). As a new generation of energy-efficient product, the 2BV series offers superior performance and numerous advantages. It is gradually replacing older models such as SK, 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps, and W, WY, WL series reciprocating pumps. **Key Features** 1. Direct coupling design saves space and makes installation and maintenance more convenient. 2. All units come with a cavitation protection tube. If the pump operates under its maximum pressure, opening the cavitation protection tube (or connecting it with a separator) ensures optimal suction performance even during cavitation and protects the pump. 3. The 2BV series can be equipped with stainless steel impellers, which provide high strength, durability, and improved corrosion resistance. 4. A unique flexible air outlet design prevents over-compression, ensuring the best possible performance efficiency. 5. Equipped with Y2 series motors, offering IP54/IP55 protection (standard IP44) and insulation class F (standard class B). 6. Flexible seals can be made entirely of PTFE, significantly extending the pump’s service life in harsh environments.
