Data show that from January to May, China imported 770,000 tons of natural rubber, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year. China imported 122,063 tons of synthetic rubber (including latex rubber) in May, an increase of 3.2% from 118,300 tons in April and a decrease of 9.5% from 134,845 tons in the same period of 2010. From January to May, China imported 625,325 tons of synthetic rubber, a year-on-year decrease of 13.9%. China imported 120,000 tons of natural rubber (including latex rubber) in May, a decrease of 33.3% from 180,000 tons in April and 33.3% from 90,000 tons in the same period of 2010.
