Auto accident with entrapment in Northbrook, 8-4-22

On Thursday evening, August 4, 2022, a multi-agency extrication took place along the Edens Expressway (I-94) near Dundee Road in Northbrook. Tim Olk captured powerful images of the scene, showing firefighters from Glencoe, Deerfield, and Wilmette working alongside local Northbrook crews to free a victim trapped in a vehicle. The incident involved a serious crash that required extensive rescue efforts. One individual was airlifted by helicopter to Lutheran General Hospital for further medical care. These photos provide a rare and intense look at the coordination and dedication of first responders during a critical situation.
