Troy Fire Department has officially taken delivery of their second Pierce Arrow XT engine, now sporting a fresh new color scheme. This is Engine 2221, following the previous unit, which was numbered 2211. The updated look marks an exciting evolution for the department’s fleet.

Algonquin Fire Department is currently working on two brand-new units at Ferrara. Like Buffalo Grove, they've acquired both an engine and a tower ladder. However, unlike Buffalo Grove, these units are expected to be fully equipped with top-tier features. Early production photos of both units have been released and can be viewed HERE.
In addition, Algonquin recently received a new ambulance from Medtec this spring, further enhancing their emergency response capabilities.
Countryside Fire Protection District, part of Lake County, is set to receive a new Horton ambulance and a custom-built tender from US Tank very soon. The tender is currently in production, and the progress has been documented by the manufacturer.

Glenview Fire Department has reportedly placed an order for two new engines from Pierce. Both will feature the Arrow XT cab and chassis. One unit will have a conventional pumper body, similar to Engines 6 and 7, while the other will be a rescue-style configuration, akin to Engine 8, which was showcased previously HERE.
Huntley Fire Department is anticipating the arrival of a new IHC 4300 Type I ambulance from Medtec, expanding their fleet with a high-performance vehicle.
Highland Park Fire Department is currently in the early stages of designing specifications for a new ambulance. Their current fleet consists of Type III units built on E-Series Ford chassis. The upcoming unit will mark a significant shift, as it will be a Type I ambulance featuring a Ford F-Series chassis, offering improved performance and versatility.
